Sunday Agwinede, a long-standing legal practitioner has since 2021 served as legal adviser to the Board of the Tonnie Iredia Centre for Media Advocacy (TICMA) and Secretary of its Curriculum Development Committee.

This was after his membership of the Visitation Panel to Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo. Mr. Agwinede, a moral teacher of repute was formerly Registrar and now Chancellor of the (Anglican Communion) Diocese of Esan.

A member of the Nigeria and International Bar, Agwinede has held several positions including Treasurer of the Nigeria Bar Association Benin Branch and Secretary of its Ombudsman Committee.

Barrister Agwinede is the author of the draft law for the TIUC; and has remained firm in ensuring her compliance with relevant laws, regulations and academic standards prescribed by the National Universities Commission.
