



The Department of Public Relations at TIUC provides students with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training in image management, reputation building, and stakeholder communication. The programme prepares graduates to navigate today’s fast-changing communication environment.

Students will benefit from simulation labs, case studies, internships, and mentorship opportunities, ensuring practical exposure to PR campaigns and real-world challenges.
Undergraduate Admission
Five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, plus three other relevant subjects (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) obtained in not more than two sittings.
A satisfactory UTME score with subject combinations relevant to communication and social sciences.
Direct Entry candidates must hold two A-Level passes, OND, NCE, or equivalent qualifications acceptable to TIUC.
Awaiting result candidates are accepted, but admission will be conditional until results are verified.
Postgraduate Admission
A Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, PR, Marketing, or related disciplines, with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
Applicants must provide transcripts and academic/professional references.
For Ph.D.: A Master’s degree with at least 3.5/5.0 CGPA in a relevant field, plus a research proposal in PR or communication studies.
