



This department combines film production, multimedia design, and digital storytelling to prepare students for today’s creative industries. The curriculum balances artistic creativity with technical proficiency, giving students the tools to succeed in diverse media environments.

Film Theory, Criticism, and Media Studies
Facilities include film production studios, editing suites, animation labs, and multimedia classrooms, giving students access to industry-standard equipment and software.
Undergraduate Admission
Five (5) O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics, plus three other relevant subjects (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB), obtained in not more than two sittings.
A satisfactory UTME score in relevant subject areas (e.g., English, Literature, Arts, Government).
Direct Entry applicants must hold two A-Level passes, OND, NCE, or equivalent qualifications acceptable to TIUC.
Awaiting result candidates may apply, with admission conditional on result submission.
Postgraduate Admission
A Bachelor’s degree in Film, Theatre Arts, Mass Communication, Multimedia, or related fields, with at least a Second Class Lower Division.
Submission of official transcripts and references.
For Ph.D.: a Master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.5/5.0, plus a research proposal in film, multimedia, or related areas.
