How to Apply for Undergraduate Studies at TIUC
🎓 Step-by-Step Application Guide (2025/2026 Admissions)
Step 1: Visit a JAMB-Accredited CBT Centre
All interested candidates are required to visit any JAMB-accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centre to change their institution of choice to:
Tonnie Iredia University of Communication (TIUC), Benin City.
The change must be done officially through JAMB’s portal.
Ensure you select one of the approved TIUC programmes listed below.
This process must be completed on or before November 30, 2025.

Communication and Media Studies
B.Sc. Broadcasting | B.Sc. Public Relations | B.Sc. Advertising | B.Sc. JournalismExpressive Communication and Language Arts

Step 2: Return to TIUC Admission Portal
After successfully changing your institution to TIUC, proceed to the university’s official admission portal to continue your application.
Create an applicant account using your valid email address.
Log in and complete the online application form by providing your:
Personal details
Academic background
Programme of choice
Upload your JAMB Admission Letter (compulsory requirement)
Upload any other required documents (e.g., O’Level results, birth certificate, passport photograph)
Step 3: Submit and Await Verification
After completing your application:
Review all details carefully and submit your form.
The TIUC Admissions Office will verify your details and uploaded documents.
Step 4: Receive Admission Approval
Once your application is reviewed and approved:
You will receive a confirmation email from the TIUC Admissions Office.
Your Matriculation Number and Student Portal login credentials will be issued.
Step 5: Access the Student Portal
Log in to the TIUC Student Portal to:
Pay acceptance and school fees
Register your courses for the semester
Access academic resources and communication channels
⚠️ Important Notice
The deadline for JAMB change of institution to TIUC is November 30, 2025.
Uploading your JAMB Admission Letter on the TIUC portal is mandatory for admission processing.
Only verified and approved candidates will receive matriculation numbers and portal access.

How to Apply for Post-graduate Studies at TIUC
NOTE: We are NOT taking post-graduate applications at the moment
While the general application steps (Create Account → Fill Form → Submit → Review) are the same, postgraduate applicants will need to provide additional information and documents:
📌 Additional Postgraduate Requirements
Academic History: Must include details of undergraduate degree(s), awarding institution(s), year of graduation, and class of degree.
Transcripts: Upload official academic transcript(s) or provide evidence of request from your previous institution.
Research Proposal: Required for Ph.D. applicants (outline of intended research area).
References: Some postgraduate programmes may request academic or professional referees.
Professional Experience: Applicants to applied/professional programmes may be required to show evidence of relevant work experience.
