Undergraduate Studies Admission Requirements
To apply for an undergraduate degree at TIUC, applicants must:
Possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) obtained in not more than two sittings (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).
Sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and meet TIUC’s cut-off mark.
Direct Entry applicants must possess at least two A-Level passes, OND, NCE, or equivalent qualifications acceptable to the university.
Candidates awaiting O’Level or UTME results may apply, but admission will be conditional until results are verified.
Post-graduate Studies Admission Requirements
Applicants seeking admission into postgraduate programmes at TIUC must:
Hold a bachelor’s degree (minimum Second Class Lower) in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
For M.Sc./M.A. programmes: submit official transcripts, degree certificate, and references.
For Ph.D. programmes: possess a Master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.5/5.0 (or equivalent) in a relevant field, along with a research proposal.
Professional certificates or work experience may be required for certain applied programmes.
Admission Requirements for TIUC International Students
At TIUC, we welcome students from around the world to join our inclusive and diverse learning community. International applicants must:
Provide equivalent qualifications to TIUC’s O’Level or first degree requirements, certified by relevant educational authorities in their country.
Submit an official English language proficiency test score (IELTS/TOEFL or equivalent) if English is not the applicant’s first language.
Present a valid international passport and meet Nigerian immigration/visa requirements.
Provide evidence of sufficient financial resources or sponsorship to cover tuition and living expenses.
All international students will receive support through TIUC’s International Students’ Office for visa processing, accommodation, and cultural integration.
