Facilities include a campus newsroom, multimedia labs, television and radio studios, and digital editing suites, giving students the environment to practice professional journalism.
Undergraduate Admission
Five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, plus three other relevant subjects (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB), obtained in not more than two sittings.
A satisfactory UTME score in relevant subjects such as English, Literature, Government, or related fields.
Direct Entry candidates must hold two A-Level passes, OND, NCE, or equivalent qualifications accepted by TIUC.
Awaiting result candidates may apply, but admission will be conditional until results are submitted.
Postgraduate Admission
A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related disciplines with at least a Second Class Lower Division.
Transcripts and academic/professional references are required.
For Ph.D. applicants: a Master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.5/5.0 in journalism or related fields, plus a research proposal.
